NIT DELHI Details

Established in 2010, the National Institute of Technology Delhi is one of the thirty NITs established by the Government of India. NIT Delhi has been established by an Act of Parliament and declared as an Institute of National Importance. The National Institute of Technology Delhi is an autonomous institution established under the aegis of the Ministry of Education, Government of India. The institute has five departments namely the Department of Applied Sciences, Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering and Department of Mechanical Engineering. Initially, the National Institute of Technology Delhi started in NIT Warangal in 2010 and later on moved to a temporary campus located in Dwarka, New Delhi. The present campus of NIT Delhi is located in Narela and is spread over 51 acres of land. NIT Delhi courses are approved by the All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE).
